2008 Opening Mass for Sydney CWL
The Opening Mass for Catholic Women's League was held on Tuesday March 11 in Our Lady's Chapel in Polding Centre.
A beautiful Mass was said by our Chaplain, Fr Ray Farrell.
CWL Sydney Secretary Helen Cook prepared meaningful readings and hymns.
After Mass, the members attended the Branch Meeting and then had a delicious lunch, followed by an inspiring talk and powerpoint presentation on the Mercy Ships.
On Mercy Ships and land bases, dedicated volunteers bring their wide - ranging skills serving the urgent medical needs of the forgotten poor in developing communities.
We are all constantly amazed at how much good is being done in our world and how many special people there are!
At our Branch Luncheons we always have interesting, informative and fun speakers.
