"Which Way?" FORUM DAY

A capacity audience filled the Theatrette at the Australian Museum for the CWL Sydney - CWL - NSW Forum Day: "Which Way".
Facilitator Margaret Rice introduced the guest panellists.

The facilitator asked the panellists to discuss the topic "Which Way" and each speaker engaged and entertained the audience with their interpretation of the subject.
Each gave an overview of their professional and personal life and discussed the importance of choices and decisions and their varied consequences in the areas of Medicine, Policing, Ethics and Societal response to behaviour.

The guests were generous with their time and enjoyed the encounter with the audience.

Question time allowed the audience to be involved in the discussion and the panel endeavoured to respond to the questions asked using their own experiences to engage in a fascinating dialogue with the audience.

The event ran very smoothly due to the effort and planning of the Forum committee.

It is hoped that another Forum will be held in the near future.

NCW NSW - FOUNDATION DAY AWARD

CWL Sydney Archdiocese nominated Ruth Kelly for the National Council of Women Foundation Day award.
This award recognises a nominee's commitment to improving the lives of women and their families.
Ruth was applauded for her work in CWL and the many charitable works she has been involved with in her Parish and local area.
Though Ruth did not win the award she received a Certificate of recognition.
Ruth was joined at the Parliament House Luncheon on August 4th by many of her CWL friends. Well Done Ruth! You are a Winner to us!
