Branch News 2010
- Bondi
- Concord West The March meeting was small on numbers but big on discussion. Our Lenten Reflection included a prayer for an original Branch member, Molly Hickey whose Requiem was attended a few days earlier. A busy year was planned - a Silver Circle is currently being organised to be followed by a Book Sale. Our Parish Ministry of giving appropriate Care Parcels to parish families affected by illness or grief will continue this year. Members and friends continue to keep up the production of Wraps. The meeting closed with the Prayer for Priests followed by attendance as a group at the Vigil Mass.
- Denistone Our "Wearin of the Green" Afternoon Tea for St Patrick's Day was a huge success. Everyone got into the spirit of things by wearing something green. Delicious food, wonderful Irish music, memorabilia and a St Patrick's Day trivia quiz added to a "grand" afternoon.
- Drummoyne Eight members attended World Day of Prayer service at Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford. President, Molly Wark has organised a fully booked 2 day bus tour around the Hunter Valley featuring the Hunter Valley Gardens, another opportunity to raise some funds for our Project of the Year. A jolly St Pat's night will be spent together at Harrigan's Irish Pub, Pokolbin.
- Eastwood Unfortunately the branch has closed. We thank the wonderful members for the many years of service to the Parish and CWL and we wish them well in retirement. We will miss this Branch and remember them in our prayers. Many thanks to President, Vera Bateman and her executive. Loretta Chester, Sydney President

- Fairfield Two meetings have been held this year, both quite well attended and chaired by our new President, Sandra Skarsky. We were also very happy to welcome a new member. We discussed ideas for future fund-raisers for the year, and presented $500 to our P.P. to use at his discretion in our new Church.
- Five Dock The branch hosted a Fashion Parade on Saturday, 27th March 2010 at Jeanelle's at Five Dock.
- Kingsgrove Parishioners are enthusiastic knitters and CWL buys wool for them to make squares for Wrap with Love. The first meeting for the year was held on 19th February and plans were made for future activities. Members attended the World Day of Prayer at the Uniting Church, Bardwell Park.

Peakhurst Our year commenced with great frivolity. As our meeting day was St Patrick's Day, we finished our meeting with an afternoon tea with the Irish influence in the decorations and food - a great time had by all. We have a number of our ladies going to an interesting talk by Bettye Ross, who is interested in Family History, at one of our local Churches. We now have two silver circles going in the parish - these are proving very popular with everyone.
- Randwick I visited Randwick Branch in March. This was a day of thanks to all these wonderful members for all the work they have done over many years. We will miss our Randwick branch, but they will be remembered in our Masses and they will continue as prayer members. God bless you all. Loretta Chester, Sydney President
- Ryde
- Summer Hill An Autumn Fashion Parade was held on Saturday, 24 th April with fashions by Baileys Fashions. Money raised will go to Project of the Year and our local charity.
- Sydney Harbour North Our Annual Mass for deceased members was held on Thursday, 18th March at Blessed Sacrament Church, Clifton Gardens.
